Sovereign Capability Group (SCG), backed by Australian private investment firm Whiteoak, has acquired defence systems provider Insitec. The deal brings Insitec’s cyber, cloud, systems engineering and sustainment capabilities into SCG as part of a strategy to build sovereign Australian defence capability and expand service and export offerings.

Evergreen Services Group announced its acquisition of Centrered, a managed services provider (MSP) based in Canberra, Australia. The deal is Evergreen’s first acquisition in the Australian MSP market and is intended to provide Centrered with resources and a long-term home to accelerate growth across IT support, cloud solutions, managed security, and communications services.

Impero Software, a Portland-based provider of student safety, classroom management and secure remote access software, has acquired ContentKeeper, a Canberra-headquartered leader in web filtering and mobile security for schools. The add-on expands Impero's cloud-based, device-agnostic product portfolio for education and corporate clients and accelerates its SASE/zero-trust strategy; financial terms were not disclosed.
