ShortPixel has acquired ReSmush.it, the free image optimization service founded and run by Charles Bourgeaux, to broaden its image-compression and web-performance offerings while preserving ReSmush.it’s free tier. ShortPixel said it will continue offering the free service, improve the API, and add affordable paid options for next-gen image formats.

Netskope has acquired Kadiska, a France-based digital experience monitoring (DEM) startup, to integrate Kadiska’s real-user and end-to-end network/application performance monitoring into Netskope’s SASE platform. The acquisition strengthens Netskope’s proactive Digital Experience Management (P-DEM) capabilities across SD-WAN, SSE and cloud applications; financial terms were not disclosed.

Mérieux Equity Partners, through its Mérieux Participations 4 (MP4) fund, signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority (controlling) stake in Piercan. Groupe Siparex is investing alongside Mérieux Equity Partners via its ETI 5 and France Nucléaire funds, with the founding family and other historical shareholders reinvesting part of their proceeds. The transaction is described as a primary LBO intended to support Piercan’s industrial improvement and international expansion.
