Acquisitions in Bremen, Germany

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., through its claims and risk management solutions subsidiary Gallagher Bassett, has acquired Bremen, Germany-based Reck & Co GmbH. Reck & Co is a specialist provider of global transport and marine claims services (including surveying, claim handling, recovery and loss prevention), and will strengthen Gallagher Bassett’s marine and transport claims capabilities across Europe. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the Reck & Co team will remain in Bremen under existing local leadership.

zvoove, a provider of software and AI solutions for the staffing, security, and cleaning industries, acquired Germany-based adata Software GmbH, a payroll and financial processes software specialist. The deal expands zvoove Clean’s offering by integrating adata with the fortytools facility management solution to deliver an end-to-end, fully cloud-based platform covering workforce planning, time tracking, and payroll for the German facility management/cleaning sector.

ECOMMERCE ONE, a portfolio company backed by Oakley Capital, has acquired Gambio, a Bremen-based provider of shop system software solutions for online retailers in the DACH region. The acquisition supports ECOMMERCE ONE’s buy-and-build strategy by expanding its SaaS offering for online merchants and complementing existing solutions such as Afterbuy and DreamRobot. Gambio will operate under the ECOMMERCE ONE umbrella while remaining independent, with Dr. Felix Hötzinger continuing as Managing Director.
