Acquisitions in Iceland

Visit Group, a provider of digital solutions for the attractions and tourism industries, has acquired GODO, an Icelandic hospitality software company. The acquisition strengthens Visit Group’s Nordic market leadership and is intended to accelerate growth by integrating GODO’s Travia connectivity tool into Visit Group’s ecosystem to enhance real-time distribution and sales channels.

BlueCat Networks has acquired Men&Mice, an Iceland-based provider of network management solutions, to enhance its DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (DDI) platform. The deal, which received regulatory approval, adds Men&Mice’s Micetro IP address management (IPAM) and orchestration capabilities to strengthen BlueCat’s DDI offering; financial terms were not disclosed.

Alvotech completed its business combination with Oaktree Acquisition Corp. II (a SPAC sponsored by an affiliate of Oaktree Capital Management), resulting in Alvotech becoming publicly listed on Nasdaq. The transaction included a fully committed and upsized $175 million PIPE at $10.00 per share backed by multiple institutional investors.

Funds affiliated with DigitalBridge Investment Management completed the acquisition of the telecom tower portfolios of Sýn hf. and Nova hf., two Icelandic mobile network operators. The acquired assets were combined to form ÍslandsTurnar, positioned as the first independent tower company of scale in Iceland with national coverage to support 5G deployment.

Digital 9 Infrastructure plc (D9) acquired Verne Global (registered as Verne Holdings Limited), a provider of sustainable data center solutions for high-intensity computing, for approximately £231 million in cash. Verne Global operates a 100% renewable-powered data center campus in Keflavik, Iceland, supporting AI/ML, high-performance computing, and other intensive workloads. Prior shareholders included Wellcome Trust, Stefnir, Novator Partners, and General Catalyst Partners.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP) acquired Creditinfo Group in partnership with the company’s founder and management team. Headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland, Creditinfo provides credit information and risk management solutions globally, including credit bureau, business information, and decision analytics offerings.
