WebPros, a global web enablement software provider, has acquired Comet Backup, a Christchurch-based backup and storage SaaS for MSPs and IT teams. The deal expands WebPros' ecosystem capabilities in data protection and disaster recovery, enabling partners to offer integrated backup solutions to their customers worldwide.

Banyan Software has acquired Shapeshifter, a cloud-based optimization platform for apparel manufacturers founded by Dr. Hamish Dean in 2003. The acquisition brings Shapeshifter's fabric-costing, buying and cutting optimization capabilities into Banyan's portfolio to help scale the product globally and drive efficiency and sustainability for apparel manufacturers.

Ampersand Capital Partners made a minority growth equity investment in Syft Technologies Limited to accelerate the company's progress in the semiconductor market and develop scalable opportunities in life sciences. The investment will also bring Ampersand partner David Patteson to Syft’s board to support commercial growth and scale-up.

Traction on Demand, North America's largest dedicated Salesforce consulting firm, has acquired New Zealand-based Salesforce implementation partner Trineo to strengthen its Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) footprint. The acquisition adds Trineo's ANZ delivery capability and bespoke digital product development expertise to ToD's global services, enabling a "follow-the-sun" delivery model and accelerated team growth in the region.
