MidEuropa Partners announced that its portfolio company Optegra, a pan-European ophthalmology platform, completed its fourth acquisition in Slovakia in under 18 months, cementing its market-leading position. Since MidEuropa’s majority investment in February 2023, Optegra has pursued a buy-and-build strategy, including multiple add-on acquisitions in Slovakia and the Czech Republic to expand its clinic, consultation office, and optical store footprint.

Pale Fire Capital (PFC) made a €2.3 million investment in Slovak gastro group CF Group j.s.a. As part of the transaction, PFC sold its stake in the Banh-mi-Ba concept to CF Group, giving CF Group a majority stake in the Banh-mi-Ba chain. The funding will support CF Group’s expansion and development of its restaurant and food concepts.
