Acquisitions in Castile and León, Spain

Belgian aerospace manufacturer Sonaca has agreed to acquire 51% of Aciturri's aerostructures activities, with the support of Sonaca's historic shareholders Wallonie Entreprendre and SFPIM. The transaction combines Sonaca's metal-structure expertise with Aciturri's composites capabilities to create a European aerospace champion and accelerate low‑carbon aircraft R&D.

ACON Investments has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Siex 2001, S.L. (SIEX), a Burgos, Spain–headquartered designer, certifier, manufacturer and distributor of gas-based fire suppression systems. The company's founders will remain in leadership roles; ACON's investment is intended to support product development, geographic expansion and growth into new verticals.

ABB has agreed to acquire ASTI Mobile Robotics from Keensight Capital and ASTI founder Verónica Pascual Boé. ASTI, founded in 1982 and headquartered in Spain with more than 300 employees across Spain, France and Germany, is a leading manufacturer of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and related software; ABB will integrate ASTI’s AMR portfolio into its robotics and automation offering to expand its capabilities.
