Acquisitions in Dalarna County, Sweden

Wabtec Corporation has completed the acquisition of Sweden-based Dellner Couplers, a global leader in train connection systems, from the EQT VIII fund. The transaction values Dellner at approximately EUR 890 million and strengthens Wabtec's passenger rail / transit portfolio by adding couplers, gangways and aftermarket services with a global installed base and ~1,200 employees.

German rail-infrastructure supplier Vossloh AG has acquired Nordic Tamping Service AB (NTS), a Borlänge, Sweden-based ballast tamping services provider. The acquisition adds tamping capability and specialist machinery to Vossloh's Lifecycle Solutions unit, broadening its track maintenance and lifecycle offering across Scandinavia; financial terms were not disclosed.

EQT's EQT VIII fund has entered into an agreement to acquire Dellner Couplers, a Sweden-headquartered global leader in train connection systems for passenger rail. EQT will support Dellner with investments in R&D, accelerate global growth and leverage its industrial expertise and network to expand the company's product and after-sales offerings.
