NorthEdge has invested in sterile injectable contract manufacturer and licence holder Torbay Pharmaceuticals to support its next phase of international growth, including expansion in North America. The investment involves NorthEdge purchasing Torbay Pharmaceuticals from Torbay and Devon NHS Foundation Trust, a carve-out transaction, while backing CEO Emma Rooth and the existing management team to expand operational capabilities and capacity.

Catax, a Ryan Company, has acquired Granted Consultancy, a UK-based grant funding and consultancy firm based in Exeter. The deal expands Catax and Ryan's innovation grants and R&D tax credits capabilities in the UK, bringing Granted's team of more than 30 professionals and its client portfolio into the group.

Onecom, a UK business communications technology and cloud communications specialist backed by LDC, has acquired Devon-based IP Office Ltd. The deal adds IP Office’s Exeter-based team and more than 700 customers to the Onecom Group, marking Onecom’s third acquisition of 2021 as it continues its buy-and-build growth strategy.
