Thoma Bravo-backed Veriforce has completed the acquisition of CHAS (CHAS 2013 Limited) from the London Borough of Merton, creating an expanded global supply chain risk and compliance platform. The deal brings CHAS's UK-focused contractor prequalification and health & safety services into Veriforce's SaaS safety and compliance network to accelerate international expansion and capability development.

Essex-based wholesaler S. Thorogood & Sons has acquired Mushroom Man from founder Michael Hyams for £1.2 million. The deal brings a dedicated mushroom supplier and its specialist capabilities into Thorogood’s wholesale group as Hyams retires and existing managers remain to run the business within the group.

Neighborly, the global home services franchisor based in Waco, Texas, acquired London-based Pimlico Plumbers, a leading residential and commercial service and maintenance company. Pimlico — founded in 1979 and operating with more than 400 associates and nearly $70 million in annual revenue — will join Neighborly's portfolio as a corporate-owned subsidiary to expand the company's international footprint.
