Woolpert acquired Bluesky International, the United Kingdom’s largest commercial aerial survey firm and a supplier of choice to the U.K. government for aerial photography and height data. The deal adds more than 100 survey and mapping professionals and expands Woolpert’s geospatial data collection and product capabilities, including Bluesky’s aircraft/sensor fleet and its online Mapshop data products. Bluesky is headquartered in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, and operates across the U.K., Ireland, the United States, and India.

Motorola Solutions, Inc. acquired 3tc Software, a Leicestershire, United Kingdom-based provider of control room computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software for Fire and Rescue Services and Police. The acquisition expands Motorola Solutions’ Command Center portfolio and deepens its longstanding collaboration with 3tc supporting U.K. emergency services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Onecom, a UK business communications technology and cloud communications provider backed by LDC, has acquired Leicester-based telecoms provider Daly Systems Ltd. The deal is Onecom’s twelfth acquisition since 2020 and is intended to expand Onecom’s geographic reach, team capacity, and customer base as part of its buy-and-build strategy.

Beech Tree Private Equity announced an investment in Obsequio Group, a technology-driven compliance and safety solutions provider headquartered in Leicestershire, supported by an acquisition facility from Beechbrook Capital. Concurrently, Obsequio Group announced the acquisition of APS Security & Fire, a Nottingham-based fire and security company, to support its buy-and-build growth strategy in life safety and compliance services.

Wireless Logic acquired Mobius Networks Limited for an undisclosed sum, expanding its global IoT and M2M connectivity capabilities and strengthening its position in public sector and other verticals. Mobius, headquartered in Leicestershire and founded in 2004, had been backed by NVM Private Equity since a 2019 management buyout; NVM exited its investment through the sale to Wireless Logic.

Construction Testing Solutions (CTS) has acquired Nicholls Colton Group Ltd, an independent construction testing and consultancy business headquartered in Leicester, United Kingdom. The deal supports CTS’ growth strategy by expanding and enhancing its civil engineering testing capabilities, including adding in-house chemistry testing services.

NVM Private Equity’s fund, NVM Private Equity Vintage III LP, completed a management buy-out of Mobius Networks Limited, a mobile virtual network operator providing IoT and M2M data connectivity services. The investment is intended to accelerate Mobius Networks’ growth and support continued development of its software and sales capabilities.
