Thrive, a U.S.-based provider of managed cybersecurity and digital transformation services, has acquired Custard Technical Services, an IT support and security firm headquartered in Nottingham, England. The acquisition expands Thrive's U.K. footprint and Managed Services & Cybersecurity offerings, enabling Custard's clients (manufacturers, charities and insurance groups) to access Thrive's cloud, automation and next-generation security platform.

Wireless Logic, a global IoT connectivity platform provider, has acquired Jola for an undisclosed sum. Headquartered in Nottinghamshire, Jola is a channel-only supplier specializing in mobile data SIMs and IoT/mobile data solutions, and will continue to operate independently within the Wireless Logic Group to support further growth in the UK channel and beyond.

ETFS Capital completed a £4.5 million investment in WealthKernel, a Nottingham-based digital wealth technology provider offering infrastructure, custody, and regulatory permissions for companies to build digital finance services. The funding is intended to accelerate WealthKernel’s product functionality and help it grow its customer base.
