Oxford Metrics plc entered into an agreement to acquire Industrial Vision Systems Ltd (IVS), a developer of machine vision software and technology for high-precision automated quality control systems. The £8.1 million consideration will be funded through a combination of existing cash resources and the issuance of 1,006,859 new Oxford Metrics ordinary shares. IVS is headquartered in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, and its founders will continue to lead the business following the acquisition.

August Equity has invested alongside management in StarTraq, a compliance software provider focused on offence processing, licensing, and permitting. The investment will fund StarTraq’s international expansion and entry into adjacent markets, with existing leadership continuing to run the business.

Calibre Scientific acquired Medline Scientific, a UK-based distributor of laboratory consumables and equipment headquartered in Oxfordshire. The deal expands Calibre Scientific’s distribution presence in the United Kingdom and strengthens its laboratory supplies offering.
