London-based investment firm RDCP Group has acquired Worcester Electrical Distributors, a Worcester-headquartered electrical wholesaler with six branches, 80 employees and ~£24m revenue. The deal is part of RDCP's buy-and-build strategy to expand its distribution footprint and capability, including EV charger stock and automation products; founders Neville Butler and Bob Rushton are exiting as planned retirements.

PIB Group Limited has acquired Balens Ltd (including Balens Europe B.V. and Balens Insurance Finance Services Limited), a Worcestershire-based specialist broker focused on health, wellbeing, fitness and beauty professionals. The deal brings Balens’ ~70 employees and c.100,000 insured clients into PIB’s platform, enabling PIB to expand its specialist insurance offering and accelerate growth in related UK and European verticals.

Online car retailer Cazoo has acquired SMH Fleet Solutions from private equity investor LDC in a deal valuing SMH at approximately £70 million. The acquisition expands Cazoo's vehicle reconditioning and storage capacity in the UK and adds SMH's vehicle preparation, logistics teams and digital wholesale platform to Cazoo's operations.
