Legal Services Acquisitions in Nevada

LegalZoom (Nasdaq: LZ) has acquired Formation Nation, the owner of the Inc Authority and Nevada Corporate Headquarters brands, to expand its small-business formation and compliance services. The deal closed February 10, 2025 for $49.3 million in cash plus ~2.2 million restricted shares (with an additional $15.4 million cash holdback) and brings more than 140 experienced small-business service specialists into LegalZoom to enhance customer segmentation and consultative support.

Registered Agent Solutions, Inc. (RASi), a Lexitas company, has acquired MyCompanyWorks, Inc., a business-formation and registered-agent services provider led by Matt Knee. The deal expands RASi/Lexitas’s entrepreneurial services capabilities and establishes a new Entrepreneurial Services Department to broaden technology, filings, and compliance offerings to small businesses and startups.

Boundless Immigration acquired RapidVisa to expand its service offerings, triple supported immigration categories, and accelerate application processing. The deal, financed in part by a $7.5M Series A-1 led by Foundry Group, doubles Boundless's team size and expands its global footprint with offices in Las Vegas and the Philippines.
