Manufacturing Acquisitions in Montana

Benford Capital Partners and its portfolio company R.M. Young Company have acquired SensorLogic Inc., a Bozeman, Montana–based maker of radar-based environmental sensors including the SNOdar snow-depth sensor. The deal expands R.M. Young's product portfolio and distribution footprint in meteorological and environmental measurement solutions; SensorLogic founder Doug Roberts will remain with the business post-closing.

Federal Signal Corporation has completed the acquisition of substantially all assets and operations of TowHaul Corporation for a purchase price of $46.1 million, subject to post-closing adjustments. The deal expands Federal Signal's product offerings in off-road towing and hauling equipment, strengthening its position in specialized vehicles for maintenance, infrastructure and mining markets.

American Innotek, Inc. has acquired Phillips Environmental Products, which does business as Cleanwaste, combining the RESTOP and Cleanwaste brands to expand product offerings in portable lavatories and personal waste management. The deal will consolidate manufacturing (RESTOP production to relocate to Cleanwaste’s Montana facility) and aims to drive product innovation and efficiencies across consumer, military, and healthcare end markets.

InterClean Equipment, headquartered in Ypsilanti, Michigan, has acquired Modern Wash Systems and Solutions of Polson, Montana. The acquisition adds automatic interior-trailer wash machines and related sanitation technology to InterClean’s product lineup, supporting compliance with FDA rules for food transporters and expanding the company’s offerings to transportation and food-processing customers.
