Restaurants & Hospitality Acquisitions in Iowa

CES Family of Companies, backed by Cooper Management, LLC, has acquired Bolton & Hay of Des Moines, Iowa. Bolton & Hay will operate as a division of Wilson Restaurant Supply, expanding CES’ foodservice equipment, supplies and service footprint in Iowa and across the Midwest. Financial terms were not disclosed.

DCA Partners has made a significant minority growth investment in Smash Park Entertainment Group to accelerate the company’s U.S. venue expansion. Smash Park, an indoor/outdoor eatertainment brand anchored by pickleball and multiple games, currently operates locations in West Des Moines and Pella, Iowa, with additional sites under construction in Minneapolis and Omaha.

OT Growth Partners, a portfolio company of Kian Capital, has acquired FIT Enterprise, the Orangetheory Fitness area developer for Iowa. The deal brings seven operating studios (with additional studios under development) into OT Growth Partners' platform and expands its footprint in the Midwest; terms were not disclosed.
