Software Acquisitions in Nebraska

DSD Business Systems acquired the IN-SYNCH integration platform from ROI, Inc., adding the product as a distinct division within its DSD Technology business unit. The deal brings IN-SYNCH's Sage 100 connectivity and developer tools under DSD's ownership to expand its ERP integration capabilities and ensure continuity for existing customers.

Rev.io, a Primus Capital-backed billing and customer management software provider, has acquired Tigerpaw, a long-running provider of professional services automation and business management software for MSPs and technology service providers. The acquisition expands Rev.io's capabilities in PSA, field/service automation and recurring billing for managed services and communications providers; AGC Partners advised Tigerpaw on the deal.

ToolWatch has acquired Safety-Reports.com, Inc. (Safety Reports), a provider of mobile safety and compliance management SaaS for construction, manufacturing and related industries. The acquisition is an add-on to ToolWatch's platform and is backed by majority investor The Riverside Company to expand ToolWatch's operations-management offering with safety and compliance capabilities and create cross-sell opportunities.

Bushel, an independent ag‑software company based in Fargo, North Dakota, has acquired GrainBridge, a joint venture technology team owned by ADM and Cargill. The deal brings GrainBridge employees into Bushel's Omaha office, expanding Bushel's data science capabilities and broadening its network across grain origination and marketing in the U.S. and Canada.

Montreal-based Valsoft Corporation acquired MacPractice, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based provider of macOS and iOS practice management software for medical, dental, chiropractic and optometry practices. Founders Mark Hollis and Patrick Clyne will remain with the company to support a smooth transition as Valsoft expands its presence in the practice management vertical.

Siemens has acquired MultiMechanics, the developer of the MultiMech materials modeling and simulation software, from investors including Anzu Partners (and fellow investor Solvay). MultiMechanics will be integrated into Siemens Digital Industries Software and incorporated into the Simcenter offering within Siemens' Xcelerator portfolio to add materials-engineering and digital-twin capabilities.

Thompson Street Capital Partners has partnered with Software Technology, Inc. (STI), maker of the Tabs3 and PracticeMaster legal practice management and financial software suites, in a recapitalization of the business. Cascadia Capital served as STI's exclusive financial advisor; the recapitalization will support product expansion and pursuit of new market opportunities.
