Heartland Payment Systems (Heartland School Solutions) acquired MCS Software, a Madisonville, Louisiana-based provider of K-12 school foodservice POS, back-office and online payment solutions. The deal expands Heartland’s School Solutions division by adding MCS’s software products and its nationwide customer base of more than 4,000 K-12 schools, strengthening Heartland’s position in the K-12 payments and nutrition management market.
