Acquisitions in Michigan in 2015

Delphi Automotive PLC has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Control-Tec LLC, a SaaS provider of telematics and vehicle data analytics for automotive OEMs. The acquisition will strengthen Delphi's software, data management and telematics capabilities to support OEM customers and accelerate Control-Tec's growth under Delphi's global footprint.

Main Street Capital Holdings, LLC has acquired I-Deal Optics Holdings, Inc., a Troy, Michigan-based supplier of prescription eyeglass frames. I-Deal was a portfolio company of Hadley Capital; Main Street said the acquisition will support the company’s continued growth and partnership with management.

Colfax Creek Capital has acquired GLE Precision, LLC, a Bridgeport, Michigan-based precision manufacturer of tungsten carbide tooling, gauges and product components. The investment will provide Colfax Creek control of GLE and support the company's growth initiatives, including new equipment and expansion into new end markets across medical, semiconductor, automotive and other industries.

Tesla Motors, Inc. acquired substantially all assets of Riviera Tool, LLC, a Grand Rapids-based tool and die manufacturer that serves automotive, heavy truck, and military vehicle markets. The purchase brings in-house stamping and die capabilities from Riviera's 170,000 sq. ft. facility and ~100 skilled employees, supporting Tesla's vehicle manufacturing and supply chain needs.

blinkx plc completed the all-cash acquisition of All Media Network, LLC, gaining consumer entertainment and music properties including AllMusic, AllMovie, SideReel and Celebified (together reaching over 25 million unique users per month). The deal, funded in late March 2015, is intended to be earnings accretive within the first full year and to strengthen blinkx's digital advertising platform by adding audience scale and editorial talent.

ADCS Clinics has completed the acquisition of Dermatology Associates of Northern Michigan, a Petoskey, Michigan dermatology practice led by Dr. Murray Cotter. The deal expands ADCS's national footprint in Michigan and adds surgical and cosmetic dermatology capabilities to its network of over 100 clinics and practice-management services.
