NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant, has acquired Hole-in-One U.S.A. (HIO), a Reno-based provider of hole-in-one coverage for golf events. The transaction closed on March 7, 2017, and HIO principal David Nelson will join NFP as a director, expanding NFP's niche event insurance offerings nationwide.

Phillips Feed Service, Inc. (dba Phillips Pet Food & Supplies) has acquired Omnipet, LLC (dba PetFlow), an online retailer of pet food and supplies. Cascadia Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to PetFlow. The acquisition gives Phillips e-commerce capabilities to support its independent specialty retail customers and reflects ongoing consolidation in the pet retail sector.

BITZER US, Inc., a subsidiary of the BITZER Group, has acquired ElectraTherm, a Reno, Nevada-based manufacturer of waste heat-to-power systems. The purchase adds ElectraTherm's Organic Rankine Cycle technology and Power+ Generator product line to BITZER's commercial refrigeration and heat-exchange portfolio to expand product capabilities and accelerate clean, fuel-free power offerings.

MedExpress has acquired FirstMed Urgent Care. The deal expands MedExpress's urgent care footprint by adding FirstMed's clinic(s); no seller was disclosed and the transaction was noted as completed by a 7 Mile banker who executed the deal while at another firm.
