Deel has acquired compensation-management startup Assemble to integrate Assemble’s compensation planning, pay-equity and market-benchmarking tools into Deel’s global payroll and HR platform. The acquisition will enable Deel to offer an end-to-end people platform that combines payroll, performance, and data-driven compensation planning for global teams.
Deel has acquired U.K.-based international funds transfer company Atlantic Money for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition will strengthen Deel's payments infrastructure and fintech capabilities in Europe, enabling enhanced international payouts for its global payroll customers.
Deel has acquired UK-based Hofy, a device lifecycle management and global IT services provider, in a deal reported to be slightly over $100 million. The acquisition integrates Hofy's ~120 employees into Deel and enables Deel to launch 'Deel IT'—bringing end-to-end global device supply, provisioning and lifecycle management in-house to expand its HR and payroll platform capabilities.
Deel completed its AU$121 million acquisition of APAC-based payroll and HCM provider PayGroup Limited, which has been delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange. The deal expands Deel’s payroll and HCM capabilities and APAC footprint—PayGroup processes roughly AU$12 billion in payroll annually for over 3,000 businesses and was targeting AU$39 million ARR while being EBITDA positive.
Deel has acquired Roots, an HR software platform that offers message-based apps for PTO, 1-on-1s, onboarding, social connections, and referrals. The Roots team will join Deel and their technology will be integrated into Deel's product suite to help customers improve culture, collaboration, and reduce burnout among distributed teams.
