Pilot Freight Services (backed by ATL Partners and BCI) has acquired the company's Kansas City franchise, integrating the station and its employees into Pilot's corporate organization effective April 1, 2021. Pilot Freight Services acquired its Memphis and St. Louis franchise locations and will integrate the stations into its corporate organization. The move increases Pilot's operational control across its U.S. network and strengthens its e-commerce, last-mile and B2B/global service capabilities.
Pilot Freight Services, a Glen Mills, Pennsylvania–based transportation and logistics provider backed by ATL Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI), acquired the Metro New York franchise effective November 1, 2020.
