WHP Telecoms Limited, a Warrington-based infrastructure and deployment services provider backed by Equistone Partners Europe, has acquired Intelligent Communications Solutions Ltd (ICS Group), a Braintree-based telecom rigging installations and design business. The bolt-on strengthens WHP's in-house design and build capability and follows two other recent acquisitions as part of an accelerated buy-and-build strategy to support 5G and fibre rollout across the UK.
Equistone-backed WHP Telecoms Limited has acquired Blue Clarity Design Services Ltd, a wireless network design specialist headquartered in County Down, Northern Ireland. The add-on purchase insources design and survey capabilities for WHP, strengthening the group's engineering offering to support high-volume 5G and fibre deployment programmes across the UK and Ireland.
WHP Telecoms Limited, a private equity-backed provider of telecoms infrastructure services, has acquired Redhall Network Solutions from Enact Fund II. The deal brings Redhall's specialist network commissioning, integration and maintenance capabilities into the WHP group to strengthen its service offering for mobile network operators and support ongoing 5G rollouts.
Equistone-backed WHP Telecoms has completed the acquisition of Sitec Infrastructure Services Ltd, bringing together two UK telecoms infrastructure businesses to broaden WHP's service capabilities and provide entry into the fibre market. The combined group will have turnover in excess of £100m and around 500 employees, and the deal is WHP's first acquisition since its 2018 Equistone-backed management buyout.
