Software Add-on Acquisitions in 2026

ChiroHD, a cloud-native practice management platform for chiropractors, has acquired SKED and Spark to create a connected ecosystem combining scheduling, communication automation, and AI-powered patient engagement. The acquisitions integrate SKED’s mobile-first scheduling and messaging with Spark’s AI engagement flows to streamline clinic operations and improve patient retention.

Singletrack, a PE-backed provider of AI-first client engagement tools for capital markets, has acquired Mediasterling, a London-based provider of research authoring, content creation and distribution solutions for investment research and professional services. The deal — backed by Singletrack investor Accel-KKR — will combine Singletrack's engagement platform with Mediasterling's authoring capabilities to accelerate AI-enabled research production, distribution and monetisation for capital markets clients.

Remsoft has acquired INFLOR, a Brazil-based provider of forest management systems, to expand its cloud-based Forest Intelligence Platform by adding enterprise-grade forest management, inventory, silviculture, certification, and compliance capabilities. The deal—supported by Remsoft’s investor Banneker Partners—strengthens Remsoft’s presence in Brazil and South America while enabling a combined offering that connects operational forest management data with planning, optimization, analytics, and forecasting.

Volaris Automotive, the automotive-focused operating group of Volaris Group, has acquired TSI Auto Solutions from NCM Associates. TSI Auto Solutions, a Moncton-based provider of enterprise reporting and performance-analysis software for automotive OEMs and dealerships, will join Volaris Automotive as an add-on to expand the group's automotive software capabilities.

Aegis Software has completed its acquisition of Simio, combining Aegis’ manufacturing execution and operations software with Simio’s digital twin simulation and advanced planning and scheduling capabilities to create an integrated manufacturing operations platform. The deal, backed by Peak Rock Capital (Aegis' sponsor), expands Aegis’ product breadth and positions the combined company to serve global manufacturers with end-to-end execution, planning, and simulation tools; Simio’s founder will remain a shareholder.

AutoManager, a Beekman Group–backed dealer software provider, has acquired Macrosmith, a State College, Pennsylvania–based document management software company for automotive retailers. The acquisition adds document digitization, storage, and compliance capabilities to AutoManager's dealer management platform; terms were not disclosed.

Syspro has completed the acquisition of Evocon, an Estonia-based provider of real-time production monitoring and OEE solutions, strengthening Syspro's shopfloor intelligence and production visibility capabilities. Evocon's team will remain post-close and its solution will be made available to Syspro customers worldwide; financial terms were not disclosed.

Exegy, a Marlin Equity Partners portfolio company backed by Marlin, has acquired NovaSparks Inc., a provider of FPGA-enabled market data normalization and distribution solutions. The add-on expands Exegy's ultra-low latency market data capabilities and brings NovaSparks' FPGA technology and customers into Exegy's global managed services and trading infrastructure platform.

Valsoft Corporation has acquired Jazzware, a U.S.-based provider of hospitality communications and guest-experience software. Jazzware will join Aspire Software (an operating group of Valsoft) and continue to operate autonomously while benefiting from Valsoft/Aspire's resources to expand its hospitality-focused offerings.

TechnoMile has acquired SIMS Software to add facility security, clearance tracking, and post-award compliance capabilities to its AI-enabled contract management platform. The deal is backed by Capitol Meridian Partners, which will take a majority stake in the combined company in a PE-backed add-on transaction; K1 Investment Management exits its stake in TechnoMile.

Matrix One, a life sciences software provider backed by Lauxera Capital Partners, has acquired Simploud, a cloud-based maker of Quality Management System (QMS) and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) software. Simploud's products will be integrated into Matrix One's portfolio as Matrix QMS and Matrix LIMS to broaden the company's compliance and laboratory software offering for regulated life sciences and MedTech customers.
