Fresche Solutions acquired OmniData Insights to expand its capabilities in AI-enabled data and analytics modernization and broaden beyond its IBM i modernization roots. Backed by private equity firm American Pacific Group (APG), Fresche plans to combine OmniData’s Microsoft Fabric and analytics expertise with Fresche’s IBM i transformation offerings to serve customers across multi-platform environments.

ISI Markets (formerly ISI Emerging Markets Group) announced the acquisition of EPFR, a provider of global fund flows and asset allocation data. The deal expands ISI Markets’ proprietary datasets and strengthens its global data and intelligence platform (including CEIC) for buy- and sell-side clients. EPFR was previously carved out from Informa PLC by Montagu in October 2022.

SIX acquired a majority stake in FactEntry, a global provider of fixed income reference data, analytics, and solutions for financial market participants. The deal, which closed on March 27, 2024, is intended to strengthen SIX’s cross-asset financial data offering and expand its global fixed income footprint. Financial terms and detailed deal structure were not disclosed.

Sapience Analytics announced a large new growth investment from Kayne Anderson Growth Capital to support continued expansion of its workforce analytics SaaS platform. The funding will help accelerate Sapience Analytics’ go-to-market strategy and further develop offerings including its enterprise workforce "VUE" and contingent workforce "transparenSEE" solutions.

Rekor Systems, Inc. completed the acquisition of All Traffic Data Services, LLC (ATD) for $19 million in a mix of cash and stock. The deal expands Rekor’s urban mobility data-collection footprint—particularly in the western United States and the Southeast—and combines ATD’s traffic data services with Rekor’s roadway intelligence and analytics capabilities. ATD will operate as a business unit within Rekor.

JPA Health, a portfolio company of Great Point Partners, completed the acquisition of True North Solutions, Inc., a Cambridge, Massachusetts-based firm focused on commercial, clinical, and medical affairs with strengths in AI-driven predictive analytics and natural language processing. The deal expands JPA Health’s data science, analytics, and digital acceleration capabilities to enhance its healthcare agency offerings for biopharmaceutical and medical device clients.

Collibra announced that it has acquired Husprey, an integrated SQL data notebook platform. Collibra plans to integrate Husprey into the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud to provide a more collaborative, simplified analytics workflow and faster access to trusted data and insights.

Thermo Fisher Scientific has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire CorEvitas, a provider of regulatory-grade real-world evidence and registry-based data intelligence for approved therapies. The company is being acquired from Audax Private Equity for $912.5 million in cash and is expected to join Thermo Fisher’s Laboratory Products and Biopharma Services segment upon closing (anticipated by end of 2023).

Loopback Analytics announced a strategic growth investment from PSG to accelerate its growth and expand offerings for health systems and life sciences organizations. The investment will support further development of Loopback’s data and analytics capabilities, including payor access services and therapy-specific outcomes initiatives, with founder Neil Smiley continuing as CEO.

Blattner Tech announced the acquisition of Global Footprints, Inc. to expand its data integration capabilities and deliver end-to-end solutions spanning data acquisition, reporting, and predictive/preemptive analytics. Global Footprints’ integration tools and services will enhance Blattner Tech’s ability to support large-scale data migrations and AI/ML initiatives for enterprise customers.

Qlik announced it has closed its acquisition of Talend. The combination expands Qlik’s capabilities in data integration, data quality, transformation, governance, and analytics to help enterprises access and trust business-ready data.

AutoAlert, a Kansas City, Missouri-based provider of data analytics solutions for auto dealerships, has been acquired by certain funds and accounts managed by BlackRock. The company’s platform delivers real-time customer insights and uses AI and machine learning to provide personalized recommendations, and BlackRock will support continued product enhancement and growth.

Velir acquired Brooklyn Data Co., a full-stack data and analytics consultancy, to expand its ability to help clients implement the modern data stack and use data to drive business results. The deal strengthens Velir’s data and analytics capabilities and supports its growth strategy backed by prior equity investment from Stella Point Capital.

Xevant completed a new investment round with HCAP Partners, a California-based private equity firm and impact investor. The funding will support Xevant’s growth plans, including team expansion and continued development of its automated pharmacy data analytics platform for pharmacy benefit stakeholders.

Real Chemistry, a portfolio company of New Mountain Capital, has acquired TI Health, a data-driven healthcare marketing and predictive analytics company focused on omnichannel HCP engagement. TI Health will be integrated into Swoop (part of Real Chemistry) and will go to market under the Swoop brand to create a unified HCP and DTC engagement system for healthcare marketers.

Eureka Equity Partners made a significant investment in Advertiser Perceptions, a New York-based provider of research-driven market intelligence for the media, advertising, and ad tech industries. Transaction terms were not disclosed, and the investment is intended to support the company’s next phase of growth. JEGI CLARITY represented Advertiser Perceptions in the transaction.

Progress announced it has completed the acquisition of MarkLogic, a Vector Capital portfolio company, for $355 million. The deal expands Progress’ application development and infrastructure software portfolio by adding MarkLogic’s NoSQL database, search, and semantic metadata management capabilities, and is aligned with Progress’ Total Growth Strategy.

ScalePad announced the acquisition of Cognition360, a business intelligence and analytics platform built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The deal expands ScalePad’s offerings into BI & analytics and is intended to integrate Cognition360’s data warehouse and predictive analytics capabilities with ScalePad’s existing MSP software suite.

An affiliate of Stellex Capital Management LLC acquired G2 Web Services, Inc., Lundquist Consulting, Inc., and Fintellix India Private Limited from TransUnion. The three businesses will be combined into a newly formed platform providing data-driven risk, fraud mitigation, and regulatory compliance solutions for financial services and digital commerce clients. The transaction closed on December 30, 2022.

ResourceWise, a commodity price data, analytics, and consulting provider, acquired UK-based Prima Markets, a global research and data provider focused on low-carbon fuels and the energy value chain. Following the deal, Prima Markets will operate as “Prima Markets, from ResourceWise,” with founder Matthew Stone joining ResourceWise as Managing Director; financial terms were not disclosed.

Infogrid, a building intelligence SaaS provider, has acquired Aquicore, an ESG data and analytics platform for real estate. The deal strengthens Infogrid’s ESG reporting, analytics, and carbon management offering for commercial real estate, with Aquicore’s team joining Infogrid and founder Logan Soya joining its senior leadership team.

Sverica Capital Management LP announced the sale of its portfolio company iWave to private equity firm Incline Equity Partners. Headquartered in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, iWave provides a fundraising intelligence platform that aggregates wealth, philanthropic, and biographic data for education, healthcare, and nonprofit organizations.

Ethisphere announced a strategic partnership with Alpine Investors and Alpine’s newly formed data software platform, predictis. The private transaction’s terms were not disclosed, and the partnership is intended to support Ethisphere’s growth in data-centered ESG governance, ethics, and compliance solutions.

Target RWE acquired the curation team (legacy Real World Data team) from Ciox Health, bringing that division into Target RWE effective immediately. The deal is intended to expand Target RWE’s real-world data solutions, strengthening data abstraction, retrieval, linking, and curation capabilities and adding approximately 35 employees.

Yes Energy, a North American power market data provider, has acquired Live Power Intelligence ("Live Power"), a transmission grid monitoring and generation/transmission flow data company. The deal deepens integration of Live Power’s proprietary grid-monitoring datasets into Yes Energy’s power market platform and supports expansion of Live Power’s grid monitor network. Live Power CEO Jack Farley will join Yes Energy’s management team, and the transaction is described as enabled by Yes Energy’s new growth equity partner, Accel-KKR.

Netsmart has acquired CORE Analytics, a skilled nursing facility (SNF) claims data analytics offering developed by Zimmet Healthcare. The acquisition expands Netsmart’s CareFabric platform and Netsmart Simple data solutions with capabilities to integrate claims, MDS and staffing data for quality measures, benchmarking and reimbursement optimization. Netsmart and Zimmet Healthcare also entered into a collaboration to offer consulting services and referrals to their respective clients.

Salt Creek Capital announced the sale of ApartmentData.com to MRI Software. ApartmentData.com provides market research and data solutions for professionally managed multifamily properties, including pricing, occupancy, amenities and policies at the floor-plan level.

Funds advised by Permira agreed to make a strategic investment in Reorg, a provider of data, analytics and intelligence for the credit markets. As part of the transaction, Warburg Pincus will sell its majority shareholding in Reorg to Permira, while Reorg’s management team will retain a significant ownership interest.

Xactus acquired MassiveCert, a residential national flood data and technology provider, to expand its flood services offering and broaden its data and technology capabilities. MassiveCert will operate under the name Xactus Flood Solutions, supporting Xactus’ strategy to provide a more comprehensive technology and data solution set for mortgage industry clients and expand into the insurance industry.

Francisco Partners has completed its acquisition of healthcare data and analytics assets from IBM’s Watson Health business. The acquired assets will operate as a new standalone company called Merative, headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. True Wind Capital and Sixth Street are also investing in Merative alongside Francisco Partners.

Morningstar Sustainalytics, a global provider of ESG research, ratings, and data, has acquired Aquantix, a Montreal-based technology company providing property-level climate risk data services for real estate and mortgage lending. The acquisition adds Aquantix’s AI-powered climate risk models and analytics capabilities to strengthen Morningstar Sustainalytics’ climate solutions for investors, banks, lenders, and other stakeholders assessing physical climate risks in real estate.

United Talent Agency (UTA) has acquired MediaHound, a software and data analytics company headquartered in El Segundo, California. MediaHound and its engineering/product team will join UTA IQ to enhance UTA’s proprietary data and analytics capabilities, including leveraging MediaHound’s Entertainment Graph and related recommendation products.

myDigitalOffice (MDO) announced the acquisition of Datavision Technologies to expand its hotel performance management and data analytics capabilities for the hospitality industry. Datavision’s business intelligence platform will be combined with MDO’s data lake to provide hoteliers enhanced reporting, dashboards, and real-time operational insights. Houlihan Lokey served as M&A advisor on the transaction.

Dynata announced it has acquired Branded Research Inc., a provider of high-quality, proprietary panel communities and an audience-on-demand survey platform. The deal expands Dynata’s first-party data and insights capabilities by adding Branded Research’s panel reach, technology, and expertise in panel recruiting, sampling, and member management.

Frazier Healthcare Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, completed the acquisition of Apollo Intelligence, a provider of real-time healthcare and life science data and insights. The investment is intended to accelerate Apollo’s growth strategy and expand its ability to deliver tech-enabled research and analytics solutions to global healthcare organizations.

Assembly, a global ecommerce software platform headquartered in Los Angeles, acquired PipeCandy, a vertical data-as-a-service (DaaS) and ecommerce market intelligence provider. PipeCandy tracks insights on approximately 5.4 million online retailers and provides DTC and omni-channel ecommerce performance data to marketers, investors, analysts, and sales teams. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Concord USA, LLC, a technology consulting and digital transformation firm, announced the acquisition of Evolytics, LLC, a privately held data analytics consulting firm. Headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, Evolytics provides digital, data, and marketing analytics consulting services to enterprise customers across industries including financial services, technology, and ecommerce. Evolytics’ leadership, including Tom and Carey Wilkins, will continue to lead the business within Concord to support ongoing growth.

The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) announced it has acquired GF Data, a provider of middle-market M&A transaction multiples and deal-term data. ACG said the acquisition will enhance its member experience and content strategy by adding a standardized baseline of deal terms and expanded access to valuation data and analysis.

New Mountain Capital and Endicott Capital announced the closing of their acquisition of 3E from Verisk, with New Mountain serving as the control investor. 3E provides environmental health and safety (EHS) data and software solutions supporting chemical and workplace safety, product stewardship, and supply chain responsibility.

Solve Advisors acquired credit and municipal bond data and analytics providers Advantage Data and Best Credit Data. The two businesses will be integrated into Solve’s organization to expand its fixed income market data, proprietary analytics, and workflow capabilities. The acquisitions follow Solve’s recent investment from affiliates of Charlesbank Capital Partners.

Ankura Consulting Group, LLC announced it has acquired Noragh Analytics to expand Ankura’s Data and Technology offerings with advanced data analytics, AI, and machine learning capabilities. The transaction is intended to strengthen Ankura’s technology-enabled consulting services across commercial and government clients and enhance its ability to address complex problems such as fraud detection and predictive analytics.

FoodChain ID acquired BCGlobal, a Seattle-based provider of subscription database services and regulatory intelligence covering global requirements for food, beverage, and agricultural trade. The deal expands FoodChain ID’s technology and data capabilities across regulatory compliance, food safety, and supply-chain transparency. BCGlobal was previously the regulatory intelligence and software division of Bryant Christie Inc.

TruSight, LLC acquired Private Equity Info (PrivateEquityInfo.com) in partnership with the Private Equity Info management team. The deal strengthens TruSight’s deal-origination business intelligence offering by adding Private Equity Info’s market intelligence and contact-data platform focused on private equity funds, portfolio companies, and related intermediaries and service providers.

GovExec announced the acquisition of Forecast International, a subscription-based provider of aerospace and defense market intelligence, forecasting, and research. The deal was completed with financial support from Growth Catalyst Partners, and Forecast International will be integrated into GovExec’s operations in the coming months.

The Riverside Company has invested in ProspectNow, an AI-powered real estate property and owner intelligence provider. The deal is an add-on acquisition to Riverside’s portfolio company Buildout, Inc., which provides SaaS-based marketing, CRM, and deal management software for the commercial real estate market.

Lightspeed Systems has acquired CatchOn, Inc., an ENA affiliate that provides real-time learning analytics for K-12 schools. The deal expands Lightspeed’s digital learning and safety ecosystem by adding data analytics capabilities around technology usage, privacy, and student engagement, and was completed with continued investment support from funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners.

Nevco Sports, LLC acquired Lynx System Developers, Inc., a sports technology data company based in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The deal expands Nevco’s scoring and display solutions to include photo-finish timing and results technology, enhancing its end-to-end offering for sporting facilities worldwide. Lynx will continue operating from Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Dynata announced it has acquired 0ptimus Analytics, an AI and machine learning data science and technology company. The deal strengthens Dynata’s advertising solutions by making its first-party data more actionable through connected data, audience modeling, and real-time activation capabilities.

Collectors Universe, parent company of Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), has acquired Card Ladder, a trading card valuation and pricing analytics platform. The deal expands Collectors Universe’s pricing information, transaction history, and content offering, and Card Ladder is expected to be integrated into the PSA customer experience.

Rockbridge Growth Equity acquired Marquis Software Solutions from Falfurrias Capital Partners, with CU Solutions Group (CUSG) investing alongside Rockbridge. Marquis provides data analytics, marketing, and compliance-focused software and services to banks and credit unions across the United States; deal terms were not disclosed.

MarkLogic Corporation, a portfolio company of Vector Capital, acquired Smartlogic, a provider of metadata management solutions and semantic AI technology. Smartlogic founder and CEO Jeremy Bentley and other senior leaders will join MarkLogic’s executive team. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Private equity funds managed by Blackstone have completed the acquisition of International Data Group, Inc. (IDG) from Oriental Rainbow, LLC, a subsidiary of China Oceanwide Holdings Group, Co. Ltd., for an enterprise value of $1.3 billion. IDG provides market intelligence and data for the technology industry through its subsidiaries International Data Corporation (IDC) and IDG Communications (IDGC).

Cuadrilla Capital, LLC acquired Agilence, Inc., a retail data management and analytics SaaS platform. Agilence will continue to be led by CEO Russ Hawkins, and financial terms were not disclosed.

Marlin Equity Partners announced the acquisition of Discover.ai, an agile consumer and cultural insight platform. Discover.ai will be merged into Talkwalker, an existing Marlin portfolio company, to enhance Talkwalker’s consumer intelligence offering with a dedicated services layer combining machine learning and human insight.

The Riverside Company signed a definitive agreement to sell ACTINEO, a German provider of digitization and medical assessment solutions for bodily injury insurance claims, to Verisk (Nasdaq: VRSK). The transaction also includes ACTINEO’s share of the joint venture subsidiary ANTEVIS, which provides digital services for medical codification and assessment in medical malpractice liability.

HCAP Partners announced a follow-on equity investment in Lone Star Analysis, a Dallas-based provider of predictive and prescriptive analytics and guided artificial intelligence solutions. The new funding will support Lone Star Analysis’ strategic growth initiatives and research and development for new enterprise software. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Insurity, a provider of cloud-based software for property/casualty insurers, brokers, and MGAs, has completed the acquisition of Maprisk. Maprisk provides geospatial data and analytics software used to automate underwriting and help carriers proactively respond to natural disasters. Insurity said the deal expands its geospatial analytics capabilities across the policy lifecycle and builds on its prior acquisition of SpatialKey.

Munetrix, a provider of municipal and K-12 school district data management tools and performance analytics applications, received a growth equity investment from private equity firm Essex Bay Capital. The investment will support Munetrix’s next stage of growth, including expanded product development, customer support, and sales resources.

Thoma Bravo completed its all-cash acquisition of Talend, a data integration and data integrity company, valuing Talend at approximately $2.4 billion. Following completion of the tender offers, Talend became a private company and plans to continue investing in its cloud transition and product development to support customers’ evolving data needs.

Conservice, a utility management platform for the property management industry, announced that it has acquired Goby, an ESG data management and reporting platform serving commercial real estate and fund management. The deal expands Conservice’s capabilities into ESG analysis, disclosure, and sustainability solutions to help clients reduce environmental impact and meet sustainability goals.

Appen Limited signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Quadrant, a provider of mobile location data, point-of-interest (POI) data, and compliance services. The deal includes an upfront cash payment of US$25 million and potential additional consideration of up to US$20 million in Appen shares tied to revenue milestones in 2022 and 2023. The acquisition expands Appen’s mobile-location and POI data capabilities, including Quadrant’s Geolancer platform.

Law Business Research (LBR), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), acquired Hopkins Bruce Publishers LLC, doing business as Docket Navigator. Docket Navigator, headquartered in Austin, Texas, provides patent litigation information and related data tools across the United States. The acquisition expands LBR’s portfolio of legal data and information solutions.

Talkwalker, a consumer intelligence company, has acquired Reviewbox, an all-in-one review management platform. The deal expands Talkwalker’s product review capabilities by integrating Reviewbox’s e-commerce data—such as product reviews, catalogs, and pricing—into Talkwalker’s consumer intelligence platform, with Reviewbox staff joining Talkwalker.

The Riverside Company has invested in MDoutlook, a provider of precision intelligence and business intelligence solutions for life sciences companies focused on oncology. The investment is an add-on acquisition to Riverside’s Clinical Education Alliance, LLC (CEA) platform, expanding CEA’s healthcare professional education and business intelligence offering.

RST / Measurand, a portfolio company of Vance Street Capital LLC, announced the acquisition of 3vGeomatics (3vG). The deal expands RST / Measurand’s geotechnical instrumentation and cloud-based monitoring capabilities by adding 3vG’s InSAR satellite radar analytics for ground and infrastructure displacement monitoring. Financial terms were not disclosed.

ATTOM announced it has acquired GeoData Plus, a provider of in-depth property research, valuation, and prospecting tools. The acquisition expands ATTOM’s ability to deliver detailed property reports and analytics-ready property data, strengthening its position as a one-stop shop for premium real estate data.

Huntsworth’s MEDiSTRAVA acquired US-based medical analytics consultancy MedEvoke. MedEvoke will retain its name and operate under the MEDiSTRAVA umbrella, expanding MEDiSTRAVA’s medical analytics and AI-enabled insights capabilities for pharma and biotech clients.

CoreLogic announced it has signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of ClosingCorp. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The acquisition expands CoreLogic’s digital solutions and intelligence offerings for mortgage, title, settlement, and real estate customers.

Enverus, a global energy data and SaaS technology company, has acquired Marginal Unit Inc., a power market analytics firm specializing in grid congestion and constraint analysis. The acquisition expands Enverus’ Power & Renewables capabilities by integrating Marginal Unit’s congestion modeling and analytics into Enverus’ software suite to help improve power price predictability and investment decision-making.

GovExec announced the acquisition of two contracting intelligence properties: Military Periscope and Government Contracting Institute (GCI). The additions expand GovExec’s data and insights offerings for defense and federal government contractors by providing military data, opportunity identification, and tracking/alert tools, with financial support from Growth Catalyst Partners.

MRO, Corp. announced the acquisition of FIGmd, a Rockford, Illinois-based provider of clinical, claims and quality data acquisition platforms and data interoperability solutions. The deal expands MRO’s ability to acquire, ingest, manage, and exchange clinical information across multiple sources and formats to deliver actionable insights. FIGmd founder Sanket Baralay and employees will join MRO at closing; MRO is supported by Parthenon Capital.

Stone Point Capital and Insight Partners completed the acquisition of CoreLogic for $80 per share in cash, taking the company private and ending trading of its common stock on the NYSE. CoreLogic will remain headquartered in Irvine, California, with CEO Frank Martell and the existing management team continuing to lead the business.

Press Ganey announced the acquisition of SPH Analytics, a healthcare measurement and analytics platform focused on member experience for the health insurance industry. The deal combines Press Ganey’s patient experience data with SPH’s member experience data to provide more comprehensive insights across payers and providers. SPH Analytics is backed by STG Partners, which will remain involved as a minority shareholder in Press Ganey following the transaction.

Evaluate completed the acquisition of Bioscience Advisors Inc. (Biosci), a California-based data company focused on biopharma alliances. The deal adds Biosci’s BiosciDB—an extensive database of biopharma alliance contracts and deal terms—to Evaluate’s commercial intelligence and predictive analytics portfolio for the pharmaceutical industry.

Randall-Reilly acquired Central Analysis Bureau (CAB), a provider of risk assessment tools and data for the transportation insurance industry. CAB’s management team, led by CEO Jean Gardner, will continue to run the business. The deal expands Randall-Reilly’s transportation-focused data and analytics offerings and enhances CAB’s reporting capabilities through access to Randall-Reilly data assets.

Calligo announced the acquisition of Decisive Data, a US-based data analytics, data science, and visualization firm. The deal expands Calligo’s Data Insights Services capabilities and marks its first acquisition in the United States, strengthening its ability to deliver secure and compliant data insights.

ClubReady, a provider of fitness and wellness studio club management software and services, announced the acquisition of iKizmet, a data analytics provider for the fitness industry. The deal will integrate iKizmet’s analytics capabilities and team into ClubReady to enhance reporting, forecasting, and member acquisition/retention insights for fitness studios.

Bloomberg L.P. completed its acquisition of Second Measure, a consumer transaction data analytics company. The deal adds Second Measure’s proprietary alternative-data analytics, insights, and web application to complement Bloomberg’s market data and company fundamentals for investors and businesses.

Clovis Point Capital, a Houston-based growth equity firm, completed a significant growth investment in NinjaCat, a New York-based marketing analytics and reporting platform. The partnership is intended to help NinjaCat expand its product portfolio and accelerate growth, including enhanced AI capabilities, and includes Clovis Point representatives joining NinjaCat’s board.

EVERSANA announced the acquisition of HVH Precision Analytics and its predictive analytics platform to enhance EVERSANA’s data-driven commercial services for life science companies. HVH Precision Analytics was previously owned by Havas Health & You and Perspecta, and the businesses will continue collaborating through an exclusive strategic partnership following the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Great Point Partners (GPP) exited its investment in Corrona LLC through a sale to Audax Private Equity. Corrona provides clinical real-world evidence services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies through patient registries and related data offerings, and is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Hoonuit announced the acquisition of Tembo, Inc., a provider of public assessment and accountability reporting solutions for education agencies. The deal supports the launch of Hoonuit’s new Community Engagement solution, offering public-facing dashboards and reporting tools to help school districts and education agencies share key metrics with stakeholders.

Boathouse Capital provided working capital support for its portfolio company, SurveyHealthcare, to acquire OMR Globus. The deal adds OMR Globus’ healthcare market-research panel and data collection capabilities, expanding SurveyHealthcare’s global panel reach by more than 500,000 unique panelists and strengthening operations across Europe and into Latin America.

Atar Capital completed the acquisition of Keypoint Intelligence, an independent provider of data analytics, laboratory testing, and advisory services for the global digital imaging industry. The deal adds SaaS-based tools and platforms, advanced data analytics, and market intelligence capabilities to Atar Capital’s portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Syncsort signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pitney Bowes' Software Solutions business, combining the two to form a larger data management and data quality software platform. The deal expands Syncsort’s capabilities in location intelligence, data enrichment, customer information management, and customer engagement, and is backed by affiliates of Centerbridge Partners and Clearlake Capital Group.

Marlin Equity Partners’ portfolio company Logi Analytics acquired Zoomdata, Inc., a real-time analytics platform for big data and live streaming data. Zoomdata will be merged into Logi to enhance Logi’s embedded analytics capabilities and expand its global partner network.

Evidera, a business unit of Pharmaceutical Product Development, LLC (PPD), entered into an agreement to acquire Medimix International. The deal expands Evidera’s real-world evidence capabilities by adding Medimix’s cloud-based analytics platform and large global healthcare provider panel to enhance real-world data, insights, and technology solutions for life sciences clients.

Erecruit, a global staffing industry technology provider, has acquired Innovantage, a provider of recruitment insights and workforce analytics. The acquisition expands Erecruit’s ability to offer customers critical market data and sales-lead generating intelligence alongside its staffing software products. Innovantage will be offered initially as a stand-alone product and over time integrated into Erecruit and Adapt applications.

Lionbridge acquired Gengo, a Tokyo-based technology company providing crowdsourcing, machine learning, and localization services, including its AI training-data platform Gengo.ai. The deal is intended to strengthen Lionbridge’s position in machine learning and content relevance while expanding its footprint in Japan and broader Asia. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Milestone Partners led the acquisition of mTAB LLC, a provider of database services and cloud-based data analytics platforms for enterprise clients. mTAB, based in Anaheim, California and Essex, United Kingdom, specializes in standardizing and integrating customer experience survey and voice-of-the-customer data across market research providers.

Aviana Global Technologies, Inc. (Aviana) announced the acquisition of Elite Analytics, a Texas-based data science and predictive analytics specialist. The deal expands Aviana’s business solutions offerings by adding Elite’s expertise in data mining, predictive analytics, and anomaly detection, including solutions used by major North American tax agencies. 7 Mile Advisors served as the exclusive buy-side advisor to Aviana.

Morningstar, Inc. has completed its previously announced acquisition of PitchBook Data, Inc., a provider of data, research, and technology focused on private capital markets. PitchBook’s platform and dataset covering venture capital, private equity, and M&A will complement Morningstar’s investment research and data offerings.

EXL (NASDAQ: EXLS) has acquired Datasource Consulting, LLC, a Denver-based firm specializing in enterprise data management and business intelligence. The deal strengthens EXL’s analytics offering by expanding its capabilities in data strategy, governance, architecture, and implementation of data infrastructure and BI solutions.

Ignite Marketing Analytics, an affiliate of Ignite Technologies (part of the ESW Capital family), announced it has acquired ThinkVine. ThinkVine provides cross-channel marketing attribution and optimization technology and services, and the acquisition adds ThinkVine’s marketing analytics capabilities to Ignite’s portfolio.

CenturyLink, Inc. announced the acquisition of Cognilytics, a provider of advanced predictive analytics and Big Data solutions for mid-sized and large enterprises. The deal expands CenturyLink’s IT services, Big Data, and predictive analytics capabilities by adding Cognilytics’ decision sciences expertise and Big Data technology implementation experience (e.g., Hadoop and SAP HANA).

Netezza Corporation acquired privately held NuTech Solutions, a North Carolina-based provider of advanced predictive analytics and optimization solutions. The deal expands Netezza’s advanced analytics capabilities by adding NuTech’s intellectual property and team of scientists and engineers. NuTech Solutions will continue operating as an independent division of Netezza.
