Data & Analytics Acquisitions in Wisconsin

Amplifi, a Dallas-based data and AI consultancy, has acquired Wisconsin-based Snow Fox Data to strengthen its analytics, data engineering, and AI capabilities. Snow Fox Data's team and partnerships with platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and Dataiku will be integrated into Amplifi to accelerate client digital transformation and expand end-to-end data and AI services; Snow Fox co-founder Ryan Moore will join Amplifi as Senior Vice President, AI and Analytics.

Borgman Capital made a growth equity investment in Continuus Technologies, a Milwaukee-based data engineering and cloud consulting firm, to accelerate the company’s capabilities and expand customer relationships. Continuus, founded in 2011 and led by CEO Matt Moeser, has about 50 employees and serves primarily financial services clients while also working with healthcare, logistics and manufacturing firms.

NV5 Global, Inc. (NV5) has acquired Axim Geospatial to expand its geospatial capabilities and strengthen its position in federal defense, intelligence, and utility geospatial solutions. Axim, headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, operates about 340 employees across four offices and provides enterprise GIS, cloud-managed services, surveying and mapping, and geospatial analytics.

Alliant Insurance Services has acquired BSG Analytics (BSGA), a Pewaukee, Wisconsin-based healthcare data analytics firm, and will integrate the team into its Employee Benefits Group. The deal expands Alliant's healthcare data and analytics capabilities to support clients, brokers, providers and carriers; terms were not disclosed.

FiscalNote has acquired Curate Solutions, a Madison, Wisconsin-based civic intelligence technology company that aggregates and analyzes municipal meeting minutes and agendas from over 12,000 U.S. municipalities. The acquisition expands FiscalNote's municipal-level data and AI capabilities to help clients monitor local government activity and regulatory risk.

Cyclomedia, the Netherlands-based geospatial imagery and analytics provider, has acquired Floating Point FX, a Madison, Wisconsin–based 3D geospatial modeling company. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Cyclomedia’s 3D visualization and LiDAR-based analytics capabilities and to fuel US and international growth; financial terms were not disclosed.
