Altus Capital Partners Acquires Air Innovations, LLC

Altus Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle-market manufacturing, has acquired Air Innovations, LLC, a North Syracuse, New York-based designer and manufacturer of custom environmental control units (ECUs) serving wine, aerospace, semiconductor, homeland security, and healthcare markets. Financial terms were not disclosed; Air Innovations' management will remain in place and Altus said it will support the company’s growth and end-market diversification.

Schneider Electric Acquires 75% Stake in Motivair Corp

Schneider Electric has acquired a 75% stake in Buffalo-based liquid-cooling specialist Motivair Corp in an all-cash transaction reported at $850 million. Schneider has an option to buy the remaining 25% by 2028; the move expands Schneider’s data-center thermal management capabilities and completes its planned data-center acquisitions for the near term.

Halifax Group Invests in Universal Air Conditioner

Halifax Group completed a growth investment in Universal Air Conditioner, LLC (UAC), a Mansfield, Texas–based designer and distributor of aftermarket HVAC components for cars, trucks and heavy-duty equipment. Co-CEOs Francisco Coll and Sophia Coll Crowley will remain in leadership and retain a significant ownership stake as Halifax provides the company’s first institutional capital to support expansion and platform-building in the automotive aftermarket.

Pueblo Mechanical & Controls Acquires Innovative Mechanical Systems

Huron Capital-backed Pueblo Mechanical & Controls (the ExecFactor platform) has acquired Innovative Mechanical Systems, a Phoenix-based commercial HVAC installer and service provider. The undisclosed add-on deal expands Pueblo's service offerings and geographic reach in the Phoenix market and adds experienced technicians and preventative maintenance capabilities to the platform.

Del-Air Acquires East Coast Air & Heat

Del-Air Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Electric (Del-Air) has acquired East Coast Air & Heat, a Titusville-based HVAC contractor that has served Florida's East Coast for more than 21 years. The acquisition expands Del-Air's service geography into Brevard and Volusia counties and allows East Coast customers access to Del-Air's broader home services and a complimentary A/C maintenance promotion.

IMG Companies Acquires Altair Technologies

IMG Companies, LLC acquired Altair Technologies, Inc. and concurrently recapitalized the company with management and private equity firm Addison Capital Partners. The acquisition brings Altair's furnace brazing, high-vacuum component manufacturing and metallurgical engineering capabilities into the IMG platform to expand capabilities across aerospace, defense, semiconductor and medical device end markets.
