A.P. Moller Holding Acquires Nissens Cooling Solutions

A.P. Moller Holding A/S has signed an agreement to acquire Nissens Cooling Solutions from K. Nissen International A/S (controlled by private equity firm Axcel). Nissens Cooling Solutions — a global manufacturer of customised cooling components, systems and modules for wind turbines and industrial applications with about 1,000 employees across Denmark, China, the Czech Republic and Slovakia — will be carved out as a standalone company and become fully owned by A.P. Moller Holding; the deal is subject to competition clearance and expected to close in H2 2021.

KK Wind Solutions Acquires Nissens Cooling Solutions

KK Wind Solutions has signed an agreement to acquire Nissens Cooling Solutions from common owner A.P. Moller Holding, expanding its manufacturing footprint and product offering in cooling solutions for wind and other industries. The deal adds production sites in the Czech Republic, China, Denmark and Slovakia and more than 800 employees, increasing KK Wind Solutions' global workforce and enabling tighter integration of power electronics and cooling systems.

Lawson Products Acquires S&S Automotive

Lawson Products, the operating company of Distribution Solutions Group (DSG), has completed the acquisition of S&S Automotive, a Midwest-based automotive and industrial parts distributor headquartered in Woodridge, Illinois. The transaction — funded with DSG cash and its credit facility — will combine S&S with Lawson's Kent Automotive division to expand product offering, vendor-managed inventory (VMI) capabilities and geographic reach; S&S reported approximately $40 million in annual revenue and the deal is expected to be accretive to DSG's adjusted EPS and EBITDA margins.

WAI Global Acquires ACI Automotive from Standard Motor Products

Samvardhana Motherson Acquires Assets of Bolta US Ltd.

Samvardhana Motherson, through its U.S. subsidiary SMP Automotive Systems Alabama Inc., has acquired the Alabama-based assets of Bolta US Ltd. for USD 16.002 million, purchasing USD 35.7 million in fixed assets and USD 4.7 million in inventory to vertically integrate and expand its chrome-plated polymer components capability in the U.S. automotive market.
