A.P. Moller Holding Acquires Nissens Cooling Solutions

A.P. Moller Holding A/S has signed an agreement to acquire Nissens Cooling Solutions from K. Nissen International A/S (controlled by private equity firm Axcel). Nissens Cooling Solutions — a global manufacturer of customised cooling components, systems and modules for wind turbines and industrial applications with about 1,000 employees across Denmark, China, the Czech Republic and Slovakia — will be carved out as a standalone company and become fully owned by A.P. Moller Holding; the deal is subject to competition clearance and expected to close in H2 2021.

KK Wind Solutions Acquires Vestas' Converter & Controls Business

KK Wind Solutions, owned by A.P. Moller Holding, has completed the acquisition of Vestas' converter & controls business, including three factories in Hammel (Denmark), Oragadam (India) and Tianjin (China) and roughly 600 employees. The deal expands KK Wind Solutions' manufacturing footprint and production capacity, secures exclusivity to supply converters and controls to Vestas, and includes transitional service agreements to ensure continuity during an 18–24 month integration period.

Standard Motor Products Acquires Nissens Automotive

(SMP) has completed the acquisition of AX V Nissens III APS ("Nissens") from Nordic private equity firm Axcel and the Nissen family for approximately $390 million (€360 million), net of cash and assumed debt. The deal brings the Denmark-headquartered thermal-management and aftermarket air‑conditioning supplier into SMP’s portfolio to create an aftermarket leader across North America and Europe and drive cross‑selling and synergies.

Viessmann Generations Group Acquires KPS Global from D Cubed Group

Viessmann Generations Group, the family-owned Viessmann organization, has completed the acquisition of KPS Global, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of custom insulated panel systems. The purchase from long-duration investor D Cubed Group will expand Viessmann's Clean & Cold platform into the North American market and support KPS Global's continued growth and operations across its five manufacturing facilities.

KK Wind Solutions Acquires Gram & Juhl A/S
