Moller Holding has agreed to acquire KK Group A/S (marketed as KK Wind Solutions), a Denmark-headquartered provider of power electronic systems, cooling and monitoring solutions for the wind industry. The acquisition is intended to accelerate KK Group’s global expansion and follow its customers’ international growth while leveraging A.P. Moller Holding’s global network and resources.

KK Wind Solutions Acquires Vestas' Converter & Controls Business

KK Wind Solutions, owned by A.P. Moller Holding, has completed the acquisition of Vestas' converter & controls business, including three factories in Hammel (Denmark), Oragadam (India) and Tianjin (China) and roughly 600 employees. The deal expands KK Wind Solutions' manufacturing footprint and production capacity, secures exclusivity to supply converters and controls to Vestas, and includes transitional service agreements to ensure continuity during an 18–24 month integration period.

KK Wind Solutions Acquires Nissens Cooling Solutions

KK Wind Solutions has signed an agreement to acquire Nissens Cooling Solutions from common owner A.P. Moller Holding, expanding its manufacturing footprint and product offering in cooling solutions for wind and other industries. The deal adds production sites in the Czech Republic, China, Denmark and Slovakia and more than 800 employees, increasing KK Wind Solutions' global workforce and enabling tighter integration of power electronics and cooling systems.

NSK Ltd. Acquires Brüel & Kjær Vibro from Spectris Plc.

NSK Ltd. completed the acquisition of Brüel & Kjær Vibro (B&K Vibro)'s condition monitoring systems business from Spectris Plc., closing on March 17, 2021. The deal adds B&K Vibro’s hardware, software and services (sales ~€52.5m; ~220 employees) to NSK to accelerate development of predictive maintenance and CMS capabilities across wind, oil & gas and power generation end markets.
