The Timken Company Acquires GGB from EnPro for $305 Million

The Timken Company completed the acquisition of GGB, EnPro Industries’ mission-critical surface engineering and bearing business, for total proceeds of $305 million (subject to closing date purchase price adjustments). EnPro completed the divestiture to streamline its portfolio around Advanced Surface Technologies and Sealing Technologies and to reduce leverage; Timken said the deal expands its engineered bearing portfolio and complementary capabilities.

The Timken Company Acquires Engineered Solutions Group (iMECH)

The Timken Company has agreed to acquire Engineered Solutions Group (also known as Innovative Mechanical Solutions or iMECH), a Houston-based manufacturer of thrust and radial bearings, specialty coatings and other components serving the energy industry. iMECH employs approximately 70 people and projects about $30 million in revenue for 2023; Timken will fund the purchase with cash on hand and its existing revolving credit facility and expects the deal to close in the fourth quarter.

Turnspire Capital Partners / Infinity Engineered Products Acquires Goodyear Air Springs from EnPro Industries

Turnspire Capital Partners, through its newly formed platform Infinity Engineered Products, has acquired the Goodyear Air Springs business (also referenced as the STEMCO Air Springs business) from EnPro Industries. The transaction ( ~$39.5 million per seller filing) transfers the global brand license, manufacturing facilities, IP, R&D center in Fairlawn, Ohio, and personnel to the Turnspire affiliate as the first acquisition for the Infinity platform.
