Turnspire Capital Partners' portfolio company Infinity Engineered Products acquired Meklas Otomotiv, a Turkey-based air spring manufacturer founded in 1986. The acquisition adds production capacity and engineering capability to support re‑introducing the Goodyear air springs brand in Europe and accelerates Infinity's geographic expansion into the EMEA aftermarket and OEM markets.

Gemspring Capital Acquires Goodyear Chemical (Goodyear Polymer Chemicals Business)

Gemspring Capital (through an affiliate) has acquired The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company's polymer chemicals business, including manufacturing plants in Houston and Beaumont, Texas, and an R&D facility in Akron, Ohio. Goodyear will retain certain chemical facilities in Niagara Falls, New York and Bayport, Texas; Gemspring plans to operate the acquired business as a standalone platform to accelerate product development, expand into adjacent chemical categories, and pursue growth through investment and strategic acquisitions.

Enjet Aero Acquires Enginetics Business from Standex International

Kansas City-based Enjet Aero has acquired Enginetics, a Dayton, Ohio precision components manufacturer, from Standex International Corporation. The acquisition adds Enginetics' metal forming, brazing, heat-treating and laser-drilling capabilities to Enjet's portfolio, expanding its engine-component manufacturing capabilities and customer reach in commercial and military aerospace.

Turnspire Capital Partners Acquires GHP Group

Turnspire Capital Partners, through an affiliate, has acquired GHP Group Inc., a Niles, Illinois–based designer and supplier of outdoor living and indoor heating consumer products (brands include Dyna-Glo, Bond, Pleasant Hearth and Vitapur). Turnspire said it will support GHP with operational improvements, new product development and organic growth initiatives. Wilkie Farr & Gallagher acted as legal counsel and William Blair served as financial advisor to Turnspire.

Tonka Bay Equity Partners Sells Engineered Specialty Products (ESP)

Tonka Bay Equity Partners announced the sale of Engineered Specialty Products (ESP), a Kennesaw, Georgia-based provider of pressure and temperature instrumentation. During Tonka Bay’s ownership ESP expanded engineering capabilities, launched proprietary product lines, grew exclusive supplier agreements and completed an add-on acquisition; the buyer was not disclosed in the announcement.

Turnspire Capital Partners Acquires Spectra Premium Industries

Turnspire Capital Partners, through a newly formed operating company Spectra Premium Mobility Solutions, completed the acquisition of the assets of Spectra Premium Industries pursuant to CCAA and Chapter 15 proceedings. The acquisition gives Turnspire control of Spectra's North American manufacturing and distribution platform—headquartered in Boucherville, Quebec—with more than 700 employees and operations serving OEM and aftermarket automotive, heavy-duty truck and industrial markets.
