Kodiak Acquires Crown Carbon Reduction Technologies and US Chemical

Cincinnati-based specialty chemical company Kodiak has acquired Crown Carbon Reduction Technologies and US Chemical to expand its manufacturing footprint, product portfolio and presence in the energy and mining end markets. The deals add new product lines (dust control, freeze conditioning, water treatment chemicals and fuel catalysts), nine manufacturing locations (bringing Kodiak to nine production sites) and additional employees to accelerate cross-selling and service capabilities.

Enthusiast Auto Holdings (Cortec) Acquires RCI Off Road

Enthusiast Auto Holdings (EAH), a Cortec Group-backed e-commerce platform for performance automotive aftermarket businesses, has acquired RCI Off Road, a Loveland, Colorado-based manufacturer and online retailer of off-road accessories for pickup trucks and SUVs. The acquisition is an add-on to EAH’s portfolio to expand into the truck/off-road aftermarket and to leverage EAH’s digital marketing, technology, and distribution capabilities to scale RCI’s growth.

Bowlero Corp. Acquires Mavrix and Octane Raceway in Scottsdale, Arizona

Bowlero Corp. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mavrix and Octane Raceway, two entertainment venues located in Scottsdale, Arizona, in an all-cash transaction expected to close at the end of August 2023. The acquisitions expand Bowlero’s footprint in Arizona (its 19th and 20th locations in the state) and add go-kart, arcade, laser-tag and full-service restaurant amenities to its portfolio.

Raptor Scientific Acquires Sensor Concepts, Inc.

The deal was financed with credit and equity support from Graycliff Partners and Five Points Capital and expands Raptor's test & measurement capabilities in the Aerospace & Defense market.
