Valtech Acquires Kin + Carta for £239m

Valtech has completed the acquisition of digital transformation consultancy Kin + Carta for £239 million, funded through shareholder equity and external debt. The deal adds Kin + Carta’s ~1,900 consultants and strengthens Valtech’s cloud, data, AI, digital engineering and experience-design capabilities while expanding its US and UK footprint.

Apax Partners (via Kelvin UK Bidco) to acquire Kin and Carta Plc for £203m

Apax Partners LLP, via newly formed Kelvin UK Bidco, has launched a £203 million offer to acquire Kin and Carta Plc, a London-headquartered digital transformation consultancy. Apax says the transaction will allow Kin and Carta to accelerate growth and pursue acquisitions to expand its capabilities and market position as a private company.

Kpler Acquires Spire Maritime from Spire Global

Kpler has completed the acquisition of Spire Maritime, the maritime data and ship-tracking business of Spire Global, in a transaction reported at approximately $241 million. The deal (a divestiture by Spire Global) strengthens Kpler’s maritime data and analytics capabilities; Kpler and regulators including the UK CMA have been engaged as the transaction completed.

Spire Capital Invests in The Inception Company

Spire Capital has made a growth investment in The Inception Company, a Fairfield, New Jersey-based provider of virtual engagement platforms and production services, to support expansion of studios, product development, sales and marketing, and complementary acquisitions. Founder Doug Mack will move to a board role while Spire partners will join the company's board; Santander provided debt financing and Intrepid acted as Inception's financial advisor.
