Corsair Acquires HungerRush from The CapStreet Group

Corsair acquired a majority stake in HungerRush, a Houston-based provider of the HungerRush 360 cloud POS and payments platform for restaurants, from The CapStreet Group, which will remain a minority investor. Corsair said it will leverage its payments and software expertise to accelerate HungerRush's growth, enhance product and technology offerings, and pursue organic and inorganic expansion plans; terms were not disclosed.

HungerRush, a Houston-based cloud POS and restaurant SaaS platform, acquired New York-based omni-channel ordering and digital marketing software company 9Fold on May 12, 2021. The deal integrates 9Fold's FullRail marketing and branded ordering capabilities into HungerRush's platform to give restaurants direct online ordering, improve customer data capture, and reduce reliance on third-party delivery providers.

SoundHound AI has agreed to acquire SYNQ3 Restaurant Solutions for aggregate consideration of $25 million (approx. 20% cash, 80% SoundHound Class A stock) with up to $4 million of additional consideration payable over three years subject to revenue targets. The acquisition expands SoundHound's voice and conversational AI footprint in restaurants — adding over 10,000 signed locations, deepening relationships with major chains, and accelerating deployment of generative voice AI products across the restaurant industry.
