Western Alliance Bancorporation Acquires AmeriHome Mortgage Company

Western Alliance Bancorporation has executed a definitive agreement to acquire Aris Mortgage Holding Company, the parent of AmeriHome Mortgage Company, for an estimated aggregate purchase price of $1.0 billion in cash (including $275 million cash consideration plus adjusted tangible book value). The deal brings a national B2B mortgage acquirer and servicer to Western Alliance — AmeriHome purchased about $65 billion of originations in 2020 and managed a $99 billion mortgage servicing portfolio as of December 31, 2020 — and is expected to be accretive to earnings and enhance fee / non-interest income.
