NielsenIQ has acquired Mtrix, a Brazilian SaaS provider of end-to-end visibility across indirect distribution channels, to strengthen supply chain visibility and expand NIQ's presence in Latin America. Mtrix supports thousands of distributors and more than 1.2 million points of sale in Brazil and will continue operating locally while being scaled globally as part of NIQ.

MSCI Acquires Trove Research

MSCI Inc. has signed a purchase agreement to acquire Trove Research, a specialist data, analysis and advisory firm focused on voluntary carbon markets. The acquisition will integrate Trove's carbon market data, models and platform into MSCI's climate and ESG offerings to expand its capabilities for corporates, institutional investors and other market participants; terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close this quarter.

Altair Acquires Metrics Design Automation Inc.

Altair has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding capital stock of Metrics Design Automation Inc., a Canadian provider of cloud-native simulation-as-a-service (DSim) for electronic design automation (EDA). The acquisition adds cloud-based digital simulation and scalable design verification capabilities to Altair's Altair One platform, expanding its EDA and semiconductor software offerings; closing is subject to customary conditions.
