Bain Capital Acquires HR Business from Works Applications

Bain Capital Private Equity has signed an agreement to acquire the HR-related business and subsidiaries of Works Applications Co., Ltd., with the HR business spun out to a newly established company whose shares Bain will purchase. The HR unit is Japan's leading personnel and payroll software provider (serving over 1,100 corporate clients) and Bain said it will support growth, SaaS transition and cross-selling efforts.
