GrubMarket has acquired Boston Organics, a Charlestown, Massachusetts-based farm-to-table online grocery delivery service. The deal gives GrubMarket its first East Coast presence while Boston Organics will continue operating from its headquarters under current leadership and gain access to GrubMarket's software and e-commerce capabilities.

Mr. Greens Produce (Sterling-backed) Acquires Parishables Food Service

Mr. Greens Produce, backed by Sterling Investment Partners, has acquired Atlanta-based Parishables Food Service to enter the Atlanta market and strengthen its Southeast service footprint. The deal expands Mr. Greens' product offering (including specialty cheeses, oils, spices and dairy) and service capabilities (including Sunday deliveries), while enabling Parishables' founders to partner for regional growth.

GrubMarket Acquires Grand Food Inc.

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Grand Food Inc., a Hayward, California–based protein provider, making GrubMarket a major supplier of frozen meat and seafood in the San Francisco Bay Area. The deal brings Grand Food's processing capabilities, customer relationships with grocery chains, restaurants and online grocers, and access to production facilities in California, the Midwest and Europe into GrubMarket's network and WholesaleWare platform.

B&G Foods Acquires Farmwise

B&G Foods acquired Farmwise LLC, the maker of Veggie Fries, Veggie Tots and Veggie Rings, to expand its plant-based and frozen product offerings. The Wellesley, Massachusetts-based brand — founded by Dave and Cristina Peters — will be integrated into B&G's portfolio and leveraged to develop new Green Giant SKUs. Terms were not disclosed.

B&G Foods Acquires Frozen Vegetable Manufacturing Operations of Growers Express

B&G Foods, Inc. acquired the frozen vegetable manufacturing operations of Growers Express, LLC, including inventory, equipment, a sublease for part of a Yuma, Arizona manufacturing facility and a lease for a warehouse in San Luis, Arizona. Approximately 155 employees will transfer to B&G Foods; the company also repurchased the master license agreement for certain Green Giant Fresh products. The transaction was funded with cash on hand and borrowings under B&G's existing credit facility; terms were not disclosed.

GrubMarket Acquires Brothers Produce

GrubMarket has completed the acquisition of Houston-based Brothers Produce, a major foodservice distributor operating three distribution centers across Texas and serving more than 6,000 customers across the Southwestern U.S. Brothers Produce's temperature-controlled warehousing and fleet of refrigerated vehicles will be integrated with GrubMarket's AI-powered WholesaleWare ERP and logistics platform to expand GrubMarket's footprint and capabilities in Texas and the surrounding region.
