B&G Foods Acquires Frozen Vegetable Manufacturing Operations of Growers Express

B&G Foods, Inc. acquired the frozen vegetable manufacturing operations of Growers Express, LLC, including inventory, equipment, a sublease for part of a Yuma, Arizona manufacturing facility and a lease for a warehouse in San Luis, Arizona. Approximately 155 employees will transfer to B&G Foods; the company also repurchased the master license agreement for certain Green Giant Fresh products. The transaction was funded with cash on hand and borrowings under B&G's existing credit facility; terms were not disclosed.

BFG Supply (Incline Equity Partners) Acquires Gard'N-Wise Distributors

The deal brings together CFS Brands' portfolio with TFG's front- and back-of-house smallwares and distribution capabilities to create a broader supplier for foodservice, healthcare and hygiene customers and to expand product, sourcing and distribution scale.
