Trive-backed Kittyhawk, a provider of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) services, has acquired Stack HIP from Stack Metallurgical Group. The acquisition adds Stack HIP's Albany, Oregon facility — which houses some of the largest high-pressure HIP vessels in North America — expanding Kittyhawk's capacity and capabilities to serve aerospace, space, defense, and medical customers; SMG will continue to operate its other heat treatment and aluminum processing facilities.
