London-based private equity firm Vitruvian Partners acquired Fotona (Fotona Holdings (Netherlands) B.V.) from European-Asian PE firm AGIC Capital for an undisclosed amount; AGIC will reinvest alongside Vitruvian. Fotona is a leading medical laser and energy-based device manufacturer serving aesthetics, dental and gynaecology markets with direct sales in the US and China and distributors across 65+ countries, and the deal is intended to support further international expansion.
