The Jordan Company, a middle-market private equity firm, acquired ARCH Global Precision, a diversified U.S. precision-manufacturing platform, from Strength Capital Partners. ARCH operates across cutting tools, medical implants/instruments and aerospace & defense components with roughly 1,000 employees and multiple facilities nationwide; the deal represents an investor exit and positions ARCH for a next stage of growth under new ownership.

ARCH Global Precision Acquires Cling's Aerospace

ARCH Global Precision, LLC has acquired Cling's Aerospace, LLC, adding Cling's precision machining, tubing and weldment capabilities to ARCH’s Precision Components segment. The acquisition expands ARCH’s aerospace and defense manufacturing capabilities and broadens its footprint in the Phoenix (Tempe/Mesa) area; former owner Doug Cling will remain to run the business post-closing.

ARCH Medical Solutions Acquires Medical Machining Specialists

ARCH Medical Solutions (an ARCH Global Precision company and Jordan Company platform) has acquired Medical Machining Specialists (MMS), a surgical-instrument manufacturer based in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The acquisition adds MMS’s 20,000-square-foot facility and ~65 employees to ARCH Medical Solutions’ Memphis footprint, expanding capabilities in precision surgical instruments for spine, orthopedic and trauma markets.

The acquisition adds 4-axis machining, automation for long unattended runs and NADCAP-certified finishing to ARCH's Precision Components segment as an add-on to expand capabilities in the aerospace and defense supply chain.
