Graycliff Partners Acquires Electro-Mechanical Corporation

Graycliff Partners LP has completed the acquisition of Electro-Mechanical Corporation (EMC), a Bristol, Virginia-based manufacturer of medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and custom power systems. EMC, a family-owned business since 1958 that sells to utilities, renewable generators, mining and industrial customers, will operate with Graycliff’s support to accelerate growth while preserving the company’s legacy.

Mechanical Power Acquires Clark Engineering

Mechanical Power of Wauconda, Illinois acquired Clark Engineering of Owosso, Michigan. The strategic purchase gives Mechanical Power in-house manufacturing capabilities for rod, wire, and tube formed products—enabling vertical integration and more efficient production and distribution for its industrial parts customers. The sellers were owners Chad Heckler and Paul West; terms were not disclosed.

Quantic Electronics Acquires ECI Transcon Technologies

Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired ECI Transcon Technologies, a designer and manufacturer of custom passive magnetic/electromagnetic components. The deal is the first step in Quantic’s plan to build an electromagnetic technology platform and expand its capability and product portfolio across aerospace, automotive, industrial and other end markets.
