Groupe KILOUTOU Acquires Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung Lift-Rental Operations in Germany

Groupe KILOUTOU has acquired the lift (aerial work platform) rental activities of Werner Middeke Arbeitsbühnenvermietung in North Rhine‑Westphalia and Thuringia, Germany. The deal brings four agencies, a fleet of more than 530 machines and around 50 employees into Kiloutou’s German network as part of its continued expansion in the country; closing was expected in December 2019 subject to usual approvals.

CitNOW Acquires Quik.

U.K.-based CitNOW, backed by investment firm Tenzing, has acquired Quik., a Quincy, Massachusetts-based cloud SaaS provider of digital multi-point inspections, technician video, parts pricing and integrated payments for auto dealerships. The deal expands CitNOW’s U.S. footprint in the dealer after-sales market and will allow development of the Quik. after-sales platform for OEM and dealer group partners in the U.K. and Europe. Quik. CEO Jack Gardner is stepping down; COO Chad Deaver will remain and report to CitNOW CEO Alistair Horsburgh.

Renta Group Oy Acquires Lohke Materieludlejning A/S

Renta Group Oy has acquired Danish machinery- and equipment-rental company Lohke Materieludlejning A/S, strengthening Renta's presence in Denmark and making it the fourth largest general rental company in the market. Lohke operates five depots, employs more than 90 people and generates roughly DKK 200 million in annual revenue; it will continue operating locally while adopting Renta's digital solutions.

Jobtoolz (ISH) Acquires Hirehive

HKW Acquires Technical Toolboxes Powertools, Inc.

HKW, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Technical Toolboxes Powertools, Inc., a Houston-based provider of cloud-based analytics and compliance-oriented software for pipeline operators and related engineering and inspection firms. The acquisition will support growth and product development to expand the company's role in midstream pipeline risk management and operational efficiency; financial terms were not disclosed.
