CitNOW Acquires Quik.

U.K.-based CitNOW, backed by investment firm Tenzing, has acquired Quik., a Quincy, Massachusetts-based cloud SaaS provider of digital multi-point inspections, technician video, parts pricing and integrated payments for auto dealerships. The deal expands CitNOW’s U.S. footprint in the dealer after-sales market and will allow development of the Quik. after-sales platform for OEM and dealer group partners in the U.K. and Europe. Quik. CEO Jack Gardner is stepping down; COO Chad Deaver will remain and report to CitNOW CEO Alistair Horsburgh.

Quanos, headquartered in Nuremberg, Germany, is a provider of industrial aftersales and digital technical documentation software (around 270 employees and 1,000+ customers); Keensight will support the company’s next phase of growth, expanding its product suite, market penetration and international reach. Financial terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to customary approvals.
