Cerealto UK Acquires Hill Biscuits from LDC

Cerealto UK, a portfolio company backed by Davidson Kempner Capital Management and Afendis Capital Management, has acquired Hill Biscuits from LDC. Financial terms were not disclosed; Hill Biscuits, founded in 1855 and headquartered in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, employs about 350 people and more than doubled revenues to over £40m during LDC's seven-year partnership.

The deal brings Continental’s 13 production facilities and more than 2,300 employees into Biscuit International, strengthening the combined group's product portfolio and pan‑European footprint; completion was anticipated in H1 2022 subject to customary approvals.
