Northstar Travel Group has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Centaur Media Travel and Meetings Limited (CTM), the owner of the Business Travel Show, The Meetings Show and Travel Technology Europe, from Centaur Media PLC. The acquisition gives Northstar a London platform to expand its events and B2B travel information and marketing services across the UK and Europe; the CTM team is expected to join Northstar at closing.

The deal expands Northstar's portfolio of marketing services, online media, events and SaaS tools for travel advisors; travAlliancemedia founder Mark Murphy will become an advisor to the combined business.

The acquisition supports GEMG's state and local growth strategy and will keep CSNY based in New York with founder Tom Allon serving as Publisher and General Manager as GEMG expands the CSNY model into other states and major cities.
