The Recreational Group, a Dalton, Georgia–based provider of residential and commercial surfacing products, has acquired Swisstrax, a California–based maker/distributor of plastic modular garage and event flooring. In a separate deal the company also acquired Speedway Tile; the purchases expand The Recreational Group's modular flooring portfolio and allow it to bring a majority of Swisstrax production in-house.

Diverzify Acquires ProFloors of Florida

Diverzify has acquired ProFloors of Florida and entered a strategic partnership with Lane's Floor Coverings and Interiors, expanding Diverzify's national commercial flooring platform and adding floor installation and maintenance capabilities. The deal increases the Diverzify enterprise footprint (now representing 21 business service locations) and strengthens its shared-services, installation and maintenance offering for commercial customers.

Gerflor Group, through its Gerflor North America business, has acquired Matter Surfaces, a U.S. provider of entrance systems and architectural surface solutions headquartered in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Matter Surfaces will continue to operate as a standalone brand under Gerflor North America, with its current CEO and founding shareholders remaining engaged while leveraging Gerflor's broader resources to grow and scale in the U.S. commercial market.

Lynx Equity Acquires Flooring Solutions, Inc.

Toronto-based private equity firm Lynx Equity Limited has acquired Livermore, California–based Flooring Solutions, Inc., the largest commercial non-union flooring contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. Flooring Solutions' co-founder Rick Elfman will remain with the business for more than three years to ensure a smooth transition; the deal expands Lynx's existing flooring portfolio alongside its Portland Floor Solutions and G&W Commercial Interiors holdings.

Rainier-Backed SCI Flooring Acquires United Carpet

The transaction is an add-on to SCI's flooring platform to expand geographic coverage and scale operations across the Midwest, particularly in the St. Louis and Chicago markets, and to strengthen the firm's multi-family, commercial, and residential installation capabilities.

The capital will support Grid’s expansion as it scales its vertically integrated design, manufacturing, logistics, and installation capabilities across the United States.
